There is an iconic female figure in Mexican folklore called Adelita. Renowned for her political strategies and strength during the Mexican revolution, she came to signify a woman of great courage.
Amilita is a clothing label created by Sara Afonso, inspired by Adelita.
When asked why she changed the name to Amilita, Sara mentions the playful feminine edge she brings to the modern warrior woman. The Amilita label is for the contemporary woman who integrates strength with femininity.
Developing her concept into reality came from commitment. From humble beginnings Sara started off after design school in her one-bedroom seaside apartment, crammed with industrial sewing machines and cutting labels; here she spent hours hand-sewing her silk lingerie to be sold at the Bondi markets. This commitment honed her technical skill and furnished her with an exquisite eye for detail. Now capturing the attention of Australia's leading fashion buyers, her designs can be found in boutiques from Woollahra in Sydney to Little Collins Street in Melbourne.

We take great pride in our reputation for quality, and if for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we will assist you with an exchange.
Exchange postage to and from the customer is to be paid for by the customer unless is for a faulty garment sent from Amilita.
Items returned within seven working days of purchase date will be exchanged for another item chosen by the customer within 7 days of returning their item.
If an incorrect item has been shipped, Amilita will waive exchanged item shipping charges.
All products must be returned in the original condition, unworn and unwashed with tags still attached, with the invoice. Before sending, an email must be sent to info_amilita, to obtain an exchange form, and this must also be sent with the garment.
Decisions regarding the exchange are at the discretion of AmilitaPty Ltd and we do not exchange just for change of mind. We will endeavour to replace any unsuitable items to the best of our ability within reason.
The original shipping charges are not refundable and if you are exchanging for an alternative item.
Please send your item to us using prepaid & traceable methods to ensure safe and documented delivery.
Reduced or sale items are not exchangeable for other items.
All deliveries will arrive within 2-10 working Days.
Delivery and handling is a flat rate of $9 and doesnt vary depending on size of parcel, within Australia.
